Malesha Houston
Grants Accountant
Malesha is the Grants Accountant at Inclusiv and is responsible for the oversight and direct management of all grants and cost accounting. Prior to joining Inclusiv, Malesha worked for five years at the Archdiocese of New York, where as a Staff Accountant, she was responsible for assisting in the preparation, monitoring, and amending the budgets and monthly and annual reports for each Pre-K for All program. Later as a Senior Accountant, supporting the Controller with a wide variety of functions which include transactional processing, financial analysis, cost allocation, monthly forecasts, program and annual audit support and the implementation of financial and compliance controls. Malesha has also worked for three years at St. Joseph’s University (formerly known as St. Joseph’s College) aiding the Bursar and Business Affairs for both campuses with a wide variety of functions which includes auditing Accounts Payable and Check Processing, uploading and entering general ledger activity, performing bank, accommodation, and exchange account reconciliations. Malesha holds a B.A. and M.B.A. in Accounting from St. Joseph’s University.
