Cosanti Wind BellCosanti Wind Bell Tour and The Heard Museum: American Indian Art & History Tour

Guided Tour of Cosanti:
Cosanti is the gallery and studio of Italian-American architect Paolo Soleri and was his residence until his death in 2013. The Arcosanti Site Tour includes an explanation of Paolo Soleri's urban design philosophy and an overview of the Arcosanti project. A guide will walk attendees thru Arcosanti to view and explain the unique buildings, visit the ceramic studio and bronze foundry (where the famous Cosanti bells are made), and offer insight to the community life.

Heard Museum phoenixscottsdale 2Lunch/Shopping in Old Town Scottsdale:
Lunch provided at Cowboy Ciao and an hour of free time to explore Old Town Scottsdale; shops and galleries.

The Heard Museum:
The mission of the Heard Museum is to educate visitors and promote greater public understanding of the arts, heritage and life ways of the indigenous peoples of the Americas, with an emphasis on American Indian tribes and other cultures of the Southwest.

Tour includes:

  • Admission to The Heard Museum
  • Docent guided tour of The Heard Museum (approximately 1.5 hours)
  • Free time to explore Museum gift shop
  • Admission to Cosanti (where Paolo Soleri windbells are made and sold)
  • Docent guided tour of Cosanti (approximately 1.5 hours)
  • 3 course lunch at Cowboy Ciao
  • Free time to explore Old Town Scottsdale
  • Deluxe Motorcoach transportation
  • Bottled water on bus
  • Tax & Gratuity

The tour will depart from the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix. Please include the total # of tickets needed for each attendee when you register.

Guest Social Events

$325/person

The guest social events package includes breakfasts, lunch on Wednesday and the Awards lunch on Thursday, welcome and closing receptions, and entrance to the general sessions (breakout sessions are not open to guests).

(The guest program is designed for spouses/companions only. Credit union employees, elected officials/volunteers and suppliers are not eligible to register under this category.)

Cancellation and refund requests received by August 24, 2015, are subject to a 25% administrative fee on the order total. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after August 24, 2015. No refunds will be granted for cancellation of the optional tour received after September 8th. All cancellations must be received in writing by faxing 608-231-4998 or emailing comm@cuna.coop. Substitutions are accepted anytime prior to the start of the program at no additional cost. Complete an updated registration form listing the new participant and note the name of the attendee they will be replacing.
