Rebecca Pear is the Director of Member Services at Brooklyn Cooperative. In this capacity, she is involved in promoting and developing new and existing products and services at the credit union, as well as supporting the front line staff. Ms. Pear was hired by Brooklyn Coop to start and build the Small Business Tax program, where she created a unique affordable tax prep program for entrepreneurs, freelancers and undocumented immigrants. Prior to working as the Small Business Counselor at BCoop, Ms. Pear worked as a Budget Analyst at the NYC Office of Management and Budget, Financial Counselor at Credit Where Credit Is Due and a Loan Consultant at ACCION New York. She holds a MS in Urban Policy from The New School and a BA in Government and International Relations from Clark University.
