Carole Wight
President, Holy Rosary Credit Union
Carole Wight is the President of Holy Rosary Credit Union in Kansas City, Missouri. This is a small, $20 million, low-income designated CDFI credit union, which serves a low-income population comprised largely of immigrants, people of color, disabled low-income seniors and other financially underserved populations. She originally came from a not-for-profit/church background but is now a 25-year veteran of the credit union industry. She has served as Senior Vice-President of Midwest United Credit Union in Kansas City and also as its Compliance Officer.
Carole feels fortunate to be part of the credit union movement because of the opportunities it affords to positively affect people's lives. She is particularly passionate about helping low-income households build assets and financial security.
She received her BA in Sociology from University of Missouri-St. Louis and has benefited from many Credit Union National Association (CUNA) programs including: CUNA Management School and the Regulatory Compliance School. In addition, she is a Credit Union Developmental Educator (CUDE)
