Rainy Thoen

Rainy Thoen is an executive with a track record of crisis risk management and creating and growing a successful credit union. She is looking for opportunities to utilize her experience and passion to be of service to the credit union industry and the diverse and underserved communities we serve. She brings a unique experience to boards and committees because of her diverse background. She is a strong financial, educational, positive, and operational executive with progressive experience including:
- Growing the credit union from $4 million to $100 million
- Obtaining CDFI designation
- Received $1.9 million dollar grant to assist in serving the underserved market
- Received the Juntos Avanzamos designation for Community Choice
Rainy holds a master's degree in finance and one in accounting. She has the CPA designation and several credit union designations and still loves learning all that she can. She believes we can live our best lives when our careers, health, soul, and mind are aligned. Years ago, Rainy started a journey to combine her passion for this industry with learning so she could be a greater service to others. The process has helped to build her confidence and to be a better leader. Rainy is excited to be a part of a community that believes in people helping people and in lifting each other up.
Rainy loves walking her doggies, plays, music, reading, and traveling. She believes that all people have a beautiful journey that is enriched when one can help others. Because of this belief, she would be honored to serve on Inclusiv's Board of Directors.
