Shasta Leininger, CUDE
Chief Development Officer, New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union
Shasta Leininger is the Chief Development Officer for New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union (NOFFCU). With over 10 years of experience in the credit union industry, she currently oversees marketing, business development, financial counseling, community development and the call center at NOFFCU. Her education includes a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Certified Community Development Educator (CUDE), and Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor.
Shasta understands the vital role of the Inclusiv. She has been working closely with Inclusiv on the Pathways to Financial Empowerment Program since 2015 as a participant and an advocate for the beta project.
Locally, Shasta serves as a Board Member for Community Christian Concern, a 501(c)3 nonprofit with a mission of touching one life at a time by providing compassion, guidance, and basic necessities to those in crisis. In 2016, Shasta received the Young Athena Leadership Award by the East St Tammany Chamber of Commerce for exhibiting exemplary leadership and initiative and serving as a role model for young women both personally and professionally.
