Cooperation is a core principle of Inclusiv and the cooperative movement. In keeping with this spirit, Inclusiv supports coalition building among credit unions and within the broader community development finance field in order to multiply the force of our advocacy.
CDFI Coalition
Inclusiv is a permanent member of the national CDFI Coalition, which represents the entire CDFI industry and ensures that all the voices (credit unions, loan funds, community banks, etc) are heard.
NYS CDFI Coalition
No other institutions are better positioned, or have more expertise in utilizing funds for economic development, small business expansion and job creation in New York State than the states CDFIs.
Inclusiv organized the New York State Coalition of CDFIs, which continues to be the largest and most active coalition of community development finance institutions in the country. In 2012, there were 81 CDFIs in New York with over $2 Billion in financing outstanding to over 100,000 customers, including businesses, affordable housing developers, primary care and non-profit community facilities and individuals.
