Federation Comments on CFPB Arbitration Rule & S.J. Res. 47
The Federation supports the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) arbitration rule and strongly opposes S.J. Res. 47, which would repeal this crucial consumer protection. The CFPB arbitration rule is a commonsense protection against the use of forced arbitration clauses that blocks consumers from holding financial institutions accountable.
