With 265 CDFI certified credit unions and collective assets of more than $45 billion, the CDFI certified credit union industry, the CDFI certified credit union industry is growing, and today provides services to more than 5.5 million primarily low-income consumers. These institutions aren't defined by asset size or FOM, but by their commitment to financial inclusion and community development. CDFI credit unions are among the most innovative in our industry and demonstrate that serving LMI markets is both a business opportunity and a part of our philosophy as financial cooperatives.

Plus, meet our keynote speaker, Jessica Milano, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Small Business, Community Development, and Housing at the US Department of the Treasury, pictured below. 

Jessica Milano is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Small Business, Community Development, and Housing at the US Department of the Treasury. Ms. Milano manages a portfolio of policy issues including small business access to capital, affordable housing finance, and community and economic development. Her office oversees the Small Business Lending Fund (SBLF), the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI), and the Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund. Prior to joining Treasury, Ms. Milano served as Senior Advisor to the Administrator at the Small Business Administration (SBA).
