Free Solar Lending Professional Training and Certificate Program

Now reviewing applications for January 2022 cohorts

Inclusiv’s Center for Resiliency and Clean Energy and the Center for Impact Finance at the University of New Hampshire have launched a virtual Solar Lending Professional Training and Certificate program for community-based lending institutions (credit unions, CDFIs, and community banks).

The training is free of cost to individuals with more than one year of lending experience who work at community-based lending institutions that would like to offer solar loan products. Each training cohort will acquire the knowledge, skills and practices needed to engage in solar lending, including market assessment, product development, working with solar installers and developers, underwriting and deal structuring, and program and asset management.

We are currently reviewing applications for our January 2022 cohorts:

  • Consumer/Residential Solar Lending (meets bi-weekly – Jan. 12 – Apr. 20)
  • Commercial/Small Business Solar Lending (meets weekly – Jan. 27 – Mar. 24)

Seats are filling up fast, learn more and apply here: https://carsey.unh.edu/center-for-impact-finance/solar-lending-training-series

Please contact Neda Arabshahi, Director, Inclusiv Center for Resiliency and Clean Energy with any questions at Narabshahi@inclusiv.org.

Inclusiv Congratulates the Graduates of our Solar Lending Professional Training and Certificate Program!

Congratulations to the 110 graduates of our Solar Lending Professional Training and Certificate Program! We're honored and thrilled to send this incredible group of clean energy lending pioneers out into the world to lead this critical emerging movement. These lenders are combating climate change by creating equitable access to affordable financing solutions for all people, especially those historically excluded from the clean energy space and most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.
