Inclusiv's 8th Annual CDFI Credit Union Update
On Monday morning, we kicked things off on a high note with Inclusiv's 8th Annual CDFI Credit Union Update, where the theme was "Financial Inclusion and Community Development: Drivers of Growth and Relevance." We were delighted to be joined by Jodie Harris of the U.S. Treasury Department, who recently was appointed Director of the CDFI Fund. The State of the Movement: Addressing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the Credit Union Movement
Cathie Mahon, Inclusiv President and CEO appeared on a panel that afternoon for a breakout session on diversity and inclusion, titled "The State of the Movement: Addressing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the Credit Union Movement." Cathie was joined by fellow panelists Angela Russell, VP of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, CUNA Mutual Group; Samira Salem, PhD, and Senior Policy Analyst, CUNA; as well as moderator Eric Hansing, VP of Multicultural and Corporate Strategy, CUNA Mutual Group.

Inclusiv/Capital Inaugural GAC Session on Secondary Capital
Also that afternoon, Cathi Kim, Director of Inclusiv/Capital, led Inclusiv's inaugural session on secondary capital at the GAC, "Using Secondary Capital to Drive Growth and Community Impact." Speakers included Cathi Kim; Richard Campbell, Former CFO, Hope Credit Union; Sander Casino, SVP of Finance, Local Government FCU; and Cheryl Fatnassi, CEO, Opportunities CU.

Juntos Avanzamos Roundtable at the GAC
Tuesday began bright and early with the Juntos Avanzamos Roundtable, presented by Inclusiv and Coopera. After an eventful year, Juntos Avanzamos credit unions, leagues and financial empowerment partners gathered for a  session of learning, experience sharing and networking.

NLCUP Annual Networking Reception at the GAC
Presented by Network of Latino Credit Unions & Professionals and Juntos Avanzamos, the NLCUP Annual Networking Reception convened Tuesday afternoon at the Organization of American States' Hall of the Americas and included a private tour of the Art Museum of the Americas OAS. NLCUP’s Special Guests included Congressman Will Hurd (TX-23), Congresswoman Veronica Escobar (TX-16), and Scott B. Astrada, Director of Federal Advocacy for the Center for Responsible Lending.

AACUC Networking Meeting & Hall of Fame Induction
The African-American Credit Union Coalition's annual gathering certainly left us in a celebratory mood to close out GAC on Tuesday night! Recognizing their outstanding contributions to African American credit unions, Inclusiv’s own Pamela Owens, SVP of Organizational Development, and Cliff Rosenthal, former Inclusiv President/CEO, were inducted into AACUC's African American Credit Union Hall of Fame, alongside Charles Alston, Sr., Board Member at Aberdeen Proving Ground FCU, with an induction ceremony followed by a reception.
