Guest speakers Khari Matthew Humphries of Community Builders, Paul Woodruff with Prosperity Connection and St. Louis Community Credit Union, and MyPath’s Shirley Yee join Ann Solomon, Strategic Initiatives Manager at the Federation, and Tanya Ladha, Senior Manager at CFSI, in this webinar on effective community outreach.Khari Matthew Humphries serves as Director of Community Life for the Community Builders, Inc. at Oakwood Shores, located in Chicago’s Bronzeville community. At the Community Builders, he leads the planning and execution of programs that assist more than 2,000 residents of mixed-income housing in the areas of financial stability, asset development, youth development, education, workforce development, and community engagement.Paul Woodruff serves as the Vice President of Community Development for St. Louis Community Credit Union (SLCCU) and Executive Director of SLCCU’s affiliate non-profit, Prosperity Connection. In these capacities, he is charged with overseeing and guiding the strategic direction for numerous community outreach initiatives supported by both organizations. Paul began his career at SLCCU in 2009 as a teller and has subsequently worked as a business development specialist and manager of community development.Shirley Yee serves as the Director of Programs at MyPath, a national nonprofit headquartered in San Francisco, focused on paving economic pathways for low-income youth, As its Director of Programs, Shirley oversees its two internal youth leadership programs, MyPath Innovators and MyPath Advocates, ensuring that youth voices shape the design of all programs and policy efforts, as well as MyPath’s newest pilot program, MyPath Credit, the only youth credit-building program in the country.
