The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is hosting a series of Twitter chats with experts addressing inequities exacerbated by COVID-19.
When we set equity as the theme of the 2020 Reinventing Our Communities (ROC) conference, we couldn’t have anticipated that a pandemic would claim more than 20,000 American lives and force more than 16 million onto the unemployment rolls. The benchmarks that once measured the harsh realities of job equity, housing equity, and wealth equity pale in comparison with what millions are dealing with today and what we expect through the rest of 2020.
We invite experts like you to help unpack these issues through a series of April Equity InSight Twitter chats on the effects of COVID-19. The chats feature a diversity of voices from the Third District and beyond, including national experts.
