Low-Income Communities Hit Hard by Job Losses, Study Finds

Philanthropy News Digest presented a report from the New School Center for New York City Affairs finding that an estimated 1.2 million New Yorkers will will be jobless by the end of April as a result of COVID-19 and its economic fallout. 68 percent of these workers make less than $40,000 a year, disproportionately affecting communities of color.
