Netflix Invests $10 Million in HOPE to Build Economic Opportunity in Black Communities
On June 30, Netflix announced it would start making major investments into Black communities. The first $25 million will go to the Black Economic Development Initiative, a new fund investing in "Black financial institutions serving low and moderate-income communities and Black community development corporations in the U.S." This includes $10 million going to Inclusiv member, Hope Credit Union to "fuel economic opportunity in underserved communities across the Deep South."
