On February 7, 2023, Inclusiv Operations and Compliance Senior Specialist Anna Foote visited Magnolia Federal Credit Union (Magnolia FCU) offices in Jackson MS and met with 2 members of the senior leadership team: Sandra Patterson, COO and Aaron Coffey CFO. An Inclusiv member since 2017, Magnolia FCU (headquartered in Jackson, MS) serves 7 counties in Mississippi.
“We met in their lovely corporate offices in Jackson, MS. It was such a pleasure to meet COO, Sandra Patterson and CFO, Aaron Coffey. Our conversation focused on the current things the credit union is doing in the community and some of their future plans. We also talked about some of the credit union's challenges in this new economic environment. Many of their stories sounded very familiar,” said Anna Foote.
“I used this both as an opportunity to listen, and to offer information about Inclusiv programs and services I thought were most relevant,” said Foote. “These kinds of one-on-one conversations are very informative for Inclusiv. I look forward to visiting with more credit unions, I learn so much from them.”
Inclusiv has established an office in Atlanta, GA, and plans to visit other southeast-based member credit unions to hold more of these conversations.
