Mark Warner's Senior Economic Counsel will discuss Sen. Warner's Jobs and Neighborhood Investment Act, which proposes an investment of $17.9 billion into low-income and minority communities and allocates $2.9 billion in funding for CDFIs. We'll also discuss additional advocacy mobilization efforts with Larry Blanchard, Public Affairs Consultant at CUNA Mutual Group.

Speakers:

Craig Radcliffe, Economic Advisor to Senator Mark Warner's Senior Economic Counsel handles tax, banking and retirement matters before the Senate Finance and Banking Committees. Craig has a JD from the University of Pittsburgh and a BA in History from Bucknell University. After graduating law school, Craig worked for Congressman John Delaney as a Legislative Aide, and subsequently became Legislative Director for Congressman John Carney (D-DE), where he managed the Congressman’s legislative agenda and focused his work on the House Financial Services Committee. During his tenure as Democratic Staff Director with Senator Heidi Heitkamp, he was appointed to staff the Special Joint Select Committee on Pensions, which was tasked with addressing challenges facing the multiemployer pension system.


Larry Blanchard is a Public Affairs Consultant at CUNA Mutual Group. Larry is an experienced credit union executive with over 40 years of experience in governmental affairs and public relations. He has served in key roles at CUNA & Affiliates, NAFCU, the NCUA, CUNA Mutual Group and was Chairman of the executive committee for the Credit Union Campaign for Consumer Choice. Larry has been instrumental in shaping today’s credit union landscape. In addition to working with CUNA Mutual Group for more than 15 years, he has worked for every major credit union organization in the U.S.
