In conjunction with Federation of Southern Cooperatives Land Assistance Fund’s 59th Annual Meeting, and in partnership with Sixth Avenue Baptist FCU, Inclusiv is hosting Transforming Communities: A Southern Regional Financial Empowerment Roundtable on August 13, 2026 at the Sixth Avenue Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL. 

The Southern Regional Financial Empowerment Roundtable will focus on advancing financial empowerment and strengthening member financial education through collaborative learning, shared insights, and community-driven solutions. 

The Roundtable will feature presentations from leading industry experts and third-party organizations, offering fresh perspectives on emerging trends, innovative tools, and effective strategies that support member financial well-being. In addition, attendees will hear powerful community impact testimonials from credit unions within the region, highlighting real-world examples of how financial education initiatives are transforming lives and elevating local communities. 

Participants will engage in peer exchange, explore practical approaches to expanding financial empowerment programs, and share best practices that reinforce long-term member success. Session objectives include deepening understanding of financial empowerment strategies, strengthening capacity to deliver impactful financial education, and identifying actionable methods to elevate financial well-being efforts across credit unions and the communities they serve.
