MDI Support

Inclusiv’s MDI team provides unparalleled support for Minority Depository Institutions. We:

• Provide specialized assistance and resources to MDIs to enhance their capacity and promote financial inclusion, and  
• Offer targeted programs, webinars and one-on-one consultations to address the unique challenges faced by MDIs.

We’ve become the go-to resource for expertise on MDIs and their unique needs. But it’s not just about offering advice; we’re dedicated to empowering credit unions to develop their internal capabilities. Our approach is deeply hands-on. We understand that each member’s journey is unique, which is why we don't just shape the conversation, we actively facilitate growth and resilience within the MDI community. 

The purpose of the MDI Network is to connect Inclusiv’s MDI members to helpful information and resources by way of:

• Education – We provide MDI credit union staff and volunteers with training and opportunities to share best practices.  
• Support – We help MDIs build their capacity through technical assistance and access to financial resources.  
• Partnership – We work together with other organizations to support the growth and sustainability of MDIs.
• Promotion – We raise the visibility of MDIs and their impact throughout the credit union movement and financial service industry. 

MDI credit unions are eligible to participate in our New Majority Growth Initiative that supports current and future leaders of MDI credit unions and cooperativas to grow their institutions by increasing access to community development finance training, capacity building tools, consulting support and financial resources necessary to undertake high-priority growth activities.
