Juntos Avanzamos is a designation provided by Inclusiv to credit unions committed to serving and empowering Latinos and immigrant communities by providing affordable financial services, bilingual support, and culturally relevant financial solutions. These institutions work to promote economic growth, build trust, and ensure that the financial system works for all.
Credit unions with the Juntos Avanzamos designation endeavor to eliminate systemic barriers that keep millions of people outside the financial mainstream. They offer products and services tailored to Hispanic and immigrant communities' unique needs. This includes the acceptance of alternative documentation for account opening purposes, flexible credit underwriting, access to financing opportunities for all without regard for immigration status, as well as financial education and tools to help members build wealth and achieve their financial goals. These credit unions also focus on trust and long-term relationships within the communities they serve, often employing bilingual staff and creating welcoming environments for all members.
