Inclusiv Puerto Rico Network/LISC AmeriCorp’s Hazel Acha Wins LISC AmeriCorps 2025 Innovation Grant Competition

Inclusiv AmeriCorps LISC team member Hazel Acha Curcio is one of the winners of the LISC AmeriCorps 2025 Innovation Grant competition! 

The Innovation Grant provides funding to LISC AmeriCorps members to create new or enhance existing innovative projects, or to address unmet community needs. Members pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and respond to questions. Hazel, with support from Inclusiv’s Keyshla Molina, submitted a proposal and was awarded a $1,500 grant. 

Hazel’s project, Creciendo Juntas, aims to connect five cooperativas with 50 women small business owners, helping them access capital and financial products to start or grow their businesses. Congratulations!
