Update - Inclusiv Announces $651 Million in CCIA Awards Across 27 States & Puerto Rico

The launch of Inclusiv’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF) Clean Communities Investment Accelerator (CCIA) program generated overwhelming demand, indicating broad interest in resiliency and energy cost savings across the country.  

We are happy to announce Inclusiv has selected an additional 64 credit unions and cooperativas, bringing our total CCIA awards to a combined $651 million. The 108 selected credit unions and cooperativas serve more than 4.9 million Americans across 27 states and Puerto Rico.

Since launching our program, more than 250 credit unions and cooperativas submitted pre-qualification forms, far exceeding our expectations. Submissions came from over 40 states, including Texas, Michigan, North Carolina, Florida, and Ohio and from territories like Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and Guam.

The Inclusiv CCIA program is designed to mobilize credit unions and cooperativas to offer affordable financing to reduce energy costs for American households and businesses, creating jobs and greater financial security.

What's Next?

We continue to accept and review award applications from pre-qualified credit unions and cooperativas.

Inclusiv has invited more than 100 pre-qualified credit unions to our expanded Green Home Consumer Lending training course with the Center for Impact Finance at the University of New Hampshire. And we are currently developing this course in Spanish, tailored for Puerto Rico.

Select pre-qualified credit unions will receive additional technical assistance from Inclusiv to support the launch of their CCIA programs.
